The prices quoted on our website all include VAT. Our service is second to none and not only are we an e-commerce website, but we are contactable by phone or email to answer any queries.

As a company we have many years of experience in giving advice to our customers. We have 10 full time appliance engineers from which to draw information. Whether you want to find an appliance suitable for your particular application or technical advice regarding reliability of particular products we are here to help.

Deliveries

Customers MUST unbox and check appliances thoroughly on delivery. The appliance can then be refused as damaged and a replacement arranged quickly.

In the case that it is not possible to check the appliances, the delivery notes must be marked 'UNCHECKED' before signing.


Deliveries direct from the manufacturer

All damages MUST then be reported within 48 hours. After this time, replacements/repairs will be at the manufacturer's discretion.



Deliveries from our warehouse

If the product(s) are damaged, we will collect the item(s) and return it to our warehouse (if reported within 7 days of delivery). Once received and checked, a new model will be sent or a full refund on request.

Please ensure that you include all packaging when returning goods. We will charge for collection, which will be refunded when received and checked at our warehouse.


If you choose to send the product(s) back to our warehouse with another delivery company, we cannot accept responsibility for loss in transit.

If a problem occurs with the product after 7 days from the delivery date, please contact the relevant manufacturer.

Warehouse deliveries in the London and Heartfordshire areas can only be delivered to ground floor locations. Any other deliveries need to be checked with us to make sure they are possible. An extra charge may be payable for more complicated deliveries as the delivery cost only covers transportation to your doorstep. A standard delivery cost does not include carrying products down or up stairs. If you have any queries, please check with us before placing your order. You may be charged for aborted deliveries.

 

- Online Orders

After an order is placed online, stock availability is checked and processed quickly to keep delivery times to a minimum. As a company we keep over 1000 appliances in stock and this is reflected in our service. On small products in stock we will send out the orders by courier and delivery should be achieved within 3 working days. If the products are not in stock , it will take around 7-10 working days.

On larger goods in most cases the appliances will be delivered direct from the manufacturer usually within 2 weeks, but please allow for additional time. Whilst we endeavour to deliver as quickly as we can, products delivered directly from the manufacturers can take longer than expected (range cookers - delivery between 2 weeks - 12 weeks subject to manufacturer's stock).

Customers will be informed via email of any delays if they occur (within a few days). Please note that no payment will be taken unless we have checked stock availability.

- Phone Orders

Orders placed over the phone will be processed in the same way we process online orders. For more accurate information on delivery times please phone or email us with the product details and delivery areas and we will get back to you. Delivery times can only be estimated.

Missing A Delivery/Collection

We cannot guarantee exact times that a delivery/collection will take place, but they usually occur between the hours of 9am and 6pm (unless otherwise specified). If a customer is not available during the agreed times, a further delivery/collection will have to be arranged at the customer's cost.


Guarantee

All appliances we sell are brand new boxed items usually supplied direct from the manufacturer. These all come with a full manufacturers guarantee. The guarantee is for one year by law (but in many cases may be more), for example:

Bosch: 2 years
Siemens: 2 years
Neff: 2 years
Hotpoint: 1 year labour, 5 years parts
Hoover: 1 year labour, 5 years parts
Liebherr: 2 years
Zanussi Built In: 2 years

Privacy

Glotech will not give the information submitted to us to any third parties. We are strictly against companies profiting from their customers information. We obtain only the information required to process your order efficiently.

Payment Methods

We are very flexible in our payment options. You may purchase products from this site using a Visa, Mastercard, Switch or Delta cards. Since come customers prefer not to enter their card details on the internet to a company that is new to them we offer the option to have a representative call to obtain the details at a later date. Alternatively you may send a cheque or postal order made payable to Glotech.

Accuracy Of Information

At Glotech, we invest a lot of time and effort ensuring the accuracy of information supplied on this site. However, due to the vast range of products available mistakes do occur. We can not guarantee the accuracy of information supplied on this site and cannot be held responsible for any actions taken by the customer with this information. We reserve the right not to supply goods if we feel either the prices or information with regards to a product are incorrect.

Working Hours

Our normal office hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm, Monday - Saturday.


Cancellation of Orders

We reserve the right to cancel orders at our discretion for any reason. You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days following the day of delivery. Please return the goods supplied unused and in their original packaging to us for a full refund. You must notify us by email or post during this period of your intention to cancel. Glotech will charge a restocking fee for all orders that are cancelled after 7 days following the day of delivery. Some manufacturers may charge an additional amount.

Please ensure that you include all packaging when returning goods. We will charge for collection.

If you choose to send the product(s) back to our warehouse via another delivery company, we cannot accept responsibility for loss in transit.

If an order is cancelled for any reason, but the products have already been dispatched, the delivery charge is not refundable.
