About The CDA ECP82SS

This stylish curved glass extractor hood would make a real statement in any home. It comes equipped with useful features, to allow you to cook with ease. The extractor comes with the option of three speeds, enabling you to choose the most efficient setting to eliminate unnecessary grease, steam and odours from your kitchen.

It has a good extraction rate of 500mᶟ/hr due to the twin fan motor. This appliance allows for increased visibility whilst cooking, due to its two bright halogen lights, which are also energy efficient. You will be able to use this appliance with limited distraction, as it has a relatively quiet 58 decibel noise level.

This extractor comes with the option of ducting outside or re-circulating the air using a charcoal filter, for flexible choice. This is a reliable 80cm extractor hood which is will make an attractive feature in your kitchen, as well as working efficiently whilst cooking.

Overall

Looks good, functions well and very good value for money. Other brands would have you paying a lot more for an extractor that does exactly the same job. Just two things to mention however.
The fitting instructions suggest maximum heights above the hob that would continually have me banging my head on the glass, even though I'm only average height. So we had to install it higher than the recommendation and we will see in time if that impacts the performance.
Second thing is that the outer chimney cover that extends up to the ceiling does not fit to the lower part of the extractor very neatly. The fit at the front is okay, but at the back the upper section sticks out from the lower section noticeably on both sides. This may just be a problem with the way my builder has fitted it, so as soon as I get a chance I will check it out myself.
